Cassie | BCHS Class of 2013 Senior

Cassie | Berean Christian 2013 Senior

I couldn’t have asked for more gorgeous weather on this beautiful spring day. The Lafayette Reservoir was a new location for me.  I was beyond excited to shoot there because I knew the light glistening through the trees and reflecting off the water would be gorgeous!  I picked a versatile location near the lake that was full of texture and different elements.  This allowed me to utilize my time wisely without having to walk to different areas around the lake.  I could just turn around and I’d have a ‘new’ location.  It really was perfect.  Cassie came fully prepared with her hair and makeup done, several fun outfits & shoes, and a case full of jewelry and accessories!  I simply loved the outfit choices Cassie brought with her – several of the pieces from Brandy Melville.  Her hair had a beautiful wave to it, with simple makeup, and just the right amount of accessories to pull all these amazing looks together.

This session is crazy beautiful!!

Peet’s Coffee & Tea sent me a box of love…

Ok, those who know me, KNOW I love Peet’s Coffee. LOVE it.

Last week I popped onto Instagram and the first image I saw was posted by, you guessed it, Peet’s! They were having a quick contest – the first 20 people who instagramed a photo of their Keurig coffee maker (or other K-cups brewer) would receive something special. You can follow them too here: http://instagram.com/peetscoffee

Well, I just about sprinted into my kitchen with my handy iPhone and took the fastest picture I could of my dusty ol’ Keurig (it’s been very neglected for some time because I have not been too thrilled with the coffee that is produced by it).

I prefer a nice flavorful cup of coffee…and when I am in a hurry, the Keurig really does brew a quick cup of coffee. The only problem is, it’s never strong enough! Or the flavor really lacks, or is non-existent.

When I learned that Peet’s Coffee & Tea was finally producing Single-Cups for the Keurig – my heart skipped a beat.

I was overjoyed. I could hardly wait.

Within the hour – I was notified that I was indeed a winner! Hip Hip Hooray! *happy dance*

And the waiting…for my ‘special something’…it arrived on my doorstep THE VERY NEXT DAY!

Oh.Em.Gee.

It was beautiful.

Do you see this sweet box? Talk about presentation…pure awesomeness.

Inside…I opened it…I think I heard angels sing…Ok, not really.

I could smell the rich aroma of coffee. Oh it smelled GOOD.

See that cute little burlap bag with Peet’s logo on it…

1. I love it.

2. enclosed was fresh coffee beans. It was like a little love bag. Of coffee. I might hang it in my car.

Cute little wax stamp….nice vintage touch. <3

My dusty Keurig – I did wipe it off a bit prior to brewing though.;-)

It was late – I decided I couldn’t wait until the morning to try my first Peet’s Coffee & Tea Single-Cup.

Decaf House Blend it is….

Yes. I have Peet’s mugs too…several in fact. I hope my daughter gets me the super awesome travel mug with Peet’s logo on it. I might squeal.

and the proof IS in every cup! It really is! This decaf was delicious! It tasted like coffee (as it should!) I did the largest cup too! wowza!

I received 5 single cups to try…in the morning I went straight for the French Roast (my FAVORITE).

mmmmmmmm SO GOOD!

I admit, I drank them all in a matter of two days flat. For reals. I loved them all. French Roast will be my favorite, always, but they really are all very good. Especially since I brewed them all using the large cup setting. Typically I would need to use TWO of the ‘other’ brands to get a decent tasting cup of coffee. I’m beyond happy.

These will be SO helpful on my hurried mornings out the door for field trips and I don’t have time to brew a pot of coffee.

See…my heart is happy. Thank you Peet’s Coffee & Tea for the amazing love box – I mean, Box of your new Single-Cups. I made this heart just for you…

To purchase your Peet’s Coffee & Tea Single Cups for your Keurig coffee brewer – head on over to your local Peet’s store (hey, they are giving away samples Saturday, May 4, 2013!)
